The study was to provide an in-depth analysis and evaluation of 11 of the city’s existing facilities – including six fire stations, law enforcement center, city hall, senior center and public works facilities — and to determine their ability to accommodate present and future needs up to 20 years in the future. One component of the study was to conduct physical assessments and make recommendations for each of the facilities, including providing:
- AutoCAD plans of listed facilities that can be used for future planning
- Inspection and recommendations for mechanical, electrical and structural systems
- ADA accessibility compliance review
- General code compliance for public safety
- General site access and security, lot coverage and expansion possibilities
