This document inventories and describes existing city parklands and provides guidance for establishing a passive park on a 60-acre natural area containing wetlands and a pond. Proposed park amenities include a picnic shelter, playground, amphitheater, dock/fishing pier, horseshoe pits, community garden, hiking and cross-country skiing trails. SJA and Duluth landscape architect Luke Sydow worked with the Hermantown Park Board and a community task force to formulate the plan and gather input from city residents.
