This plan provided the basis for a major expansion of the 12-year-old college’s academic space. The expansion, completed in 2003, added 38,150 SF of new space and involved 1,500 SF of remodeled space. Fond du Lac has experienced tremendous growth since it opened its doors in 1987. The 1999 plan revisited the college’s mission, updated its space and academic study needs, and reviewed and affirmed its original design parameter, which were designed to support the college’s “union of cultures.”
